This knife has never failed me. I am an avid camper/hiker and this knife is the perfect utility knife. The blade is so durable and has withstood any task that I take on with it. An amazing tool, and self-defense weapon while camping. The razor sharp edge and full size 7" blade give you the advantage you need against any wild animal that may happen to run into you. Along with it's impressive blade, the handle is also very good. It has a rubber handle that serves as a grip and can almost never accidentally fall out of your hands like a regular leather handled KA-BAR might. 5 out of 5 stars on this one.
AMAZING KNIFE i just got it over the weekend and it has already surpassed my expectations i was expecting just another knife but after a weekend of hard use it still looks like it came out of the box wonderful
As my favorite knife in my collection, this sees a lot of work and never fails, 5 stars.
Perfect knife! Sturdy, lightweight, razor sharp, noticeably solid construction 6 out of 5 stars!!
This is the BEST knife i have ever used. I found one of these beat up and rusted out in the woods a few years ago while i was hunting. I had it cleaned and sharpened and now bring it everywhere, fishing, hunting, camping, hiking ect. and have never really needed another knife since I found it. I feel really bad for the guy who lost this in the woods.
Outstanding knife. Puts my others to shame. It feels good and gets the job done.
Received my Ka-Bar 2 wks ago. I used it to gut my Dad's 1st deer and my Pastor's 1st deer during archery season. I've used many other knives in the past, including Buck knives. None come close to this Ka-Bar. Cuts through the pelvic bone like butter. AND STILL holds it's edge. Unbelievable knife!
Great knife! I have used it for cleaning deer to cutting branches. This knife is well balanced so its not clumbsy. I carried on in the Army and have had a KA BAR and will have one for as long as they are made in the U.S.A.
I had one of these on all three of my USMC deployments from 2002 through 2006, although I never used it to its full potential it was ALWAYS attached to my side when I needed a mans knife.
Excellent. Splits logs like a charm. Holds its easy-to-sharpen edge well. Great grip. Coating does wear off easily when splitting logs though....
Great utility knife or for self defense. This is not a throwing knife. It has a single small heat treated tang going into the handle. Like a hand file, It will break if you throw the knife wrong and doink it.
I own one of these 1211 Kraton G handle KA-BARs and this has been the best knife I have ever owned! Excellent quality, durability, design, and usefulness. All in one combat knife- a must have for any knife collector. This indeed is "true historical american craftsmanship at its finest!" Live long KA-BAR!
I had one of these years back but lost it in the woods in Northeastern PA. I have always wanted to replace it but never had. Came on the website today as I am going to purchase one and read the review of the guy who found his in the woods. If you found this at Indian Rock, well, enjoy. Was so disappointed when I realized I lost it. The best knife I ever owned. Getting another today.
Simply the most versatile AMERICAN MADE knife I have ever owned!!!!! Use it for hunting and it's a dream!! Plus has a 10 out of 10 cool factor!!!
Its a great knife and everything is perfect on it except after i bought it the pin in the handle came out. But I just superglued it back in and every things been great.
Best knives in the world look no further
I have one of these that I got in 2000 when I graduated Tech school at Lackland AFB. I carried it for 3 yrs while in Air Force, then carried it for 5 yrs while in Missouri National Guard. I just recently retired it from use, the pomel broke on me. This knife is now hanging on my wall with rest of the family military memorabilia.
