I have had this knife for a little over a year now. I must say, for the price, you CANNOT beat it! This knife reminds me of a Glock pistol. It is kinda bulky and may not look the prettiest, but it takes a beating and works everytime! A lot of people dont like it due to the fact that the blade is made in china. I have no problem with it. It takes a pretty good edge and holds it, even after rigorous use. If you are in the market for a cheap everyday carry, then look no furhter! I HIGHLY SUGGEST THIS KNIFE!!!
Well after seeing this knife, and I am a big fan of the tanto blade I was sorely disappointed after buying this at the Navy Exchange and getting home opened the package to see it was made in China. For the price of 14.00 I was ok with it I guess. However I have had it for about 3 months and it loosens up all the time, you have to buy an ungodly priced torque tip screwdriver to keep it tight and I have lost a screw already. So I guess if I wanted to keep it in the package and not open it or use it I guess it would have been fine. I am retired military and severely disappointed with this product being outsourced and then sold on a Naval Base! Very UnAmerican! Very disappointed..
Great! 3 of his months I was shopping, I did not spare it since then! Low price, big reliability and prominently good edge keeping. The best purchase of my life.
Bought this knife a little over a week ago since I'm away from home and wanted something to carry around with me. Loved it and was very happy with the purchase until the g10 handle began to fade in areas. Other than that it's a very solid knife and I will continue to carry it.
I work for the New Zealnd Army and i purchased this knife when i was deployed to Afghan in 2009. It has been everywhere with me and it still performs the same as the day i brought it. This knif has been such good value for money as it has lasted 6 years now and 8s still going strong. Thenk you so much Ka-Bar
As stated above, it's pretty much as outsourced and cheap as you can get. Yeah, it's a decent blade for $20, but within 2 months of owning it, 2 of the screws holding the clip fell out of the knife. THEY ARE NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO REPLACE. I searched hardware stores all over Manhattan looking for these screws and no one sells them. I'm not impressed.
