Not the same as my big KaBar in quality., but the price aint bad neither.
Great lightweight neck knife. Good for EDC. Razor sharp.
best lil knife I ever bought ,skinned 4 deer in a row before i had to sharpen it and it takes an edge fast an easy ,light and easy to i had bought 4,can not beat this knife for the price used it this year also cleaned 3 more deer with ,two while my nephew was sharping his boker
Came with another knife I bought. In a plastic sheath. Smaller than my hand. Light and small. Good for a neck knife. Or in my underwear. But smaller than a folder. Can't go through a mail box. Will have to try and shave with it.
The design is the best I've ever seen in a skeleton knife like this, which makes it all the more disappointing because the steel is just unusable even in the kitchen. If Ka-Bar ever makes this in a presentable steel like (ideally) a decent stainless, I will buy one immediately.
I received this knife in a subscription box of preparedness gear. I have been pleased with Ka Bar products in the past but mist say the 'sheath' that comes with this knife is not only what I consider substandard but dangerous. There is no way to attach the sheath to a belt and if you attempt to wear this as a neck knife, the knife will slide out of the 'sheath with minimal motion opening the wearer to abdominal wounds it the knife penetrates skin. This knife is definitely going into my drawer. I'm certainly not going to carry it with me anywhere.
