I have owned this knife for a few months now and I must say I am quite satisfied with it so far. It is perfect for small daily tasks as they describe it to be but I wouldn't consider that to be it's limit either. This knife comes very sharp and holds a great edge. One suggestion would be to make sure you take a close look at the length specs. and understand how small this knife really is. If you're looking for a small, durable and very useful daily fixed blade like I was, you can't go wrong with the Remora. My only complaint is that there is no clip or belt loop on the sheath but I managed to attach my own. Other than that, it's one more great blade made in the U.S.A. Thanks KABAR.
I recently bought this knife and it is great! I have already split small branches in half with it just to see if it could and it did it wonderfully! Before buying this knife you should really consider how small it is the same size in real life as it is on my screen! I wear this knife as a neck knife and I barely even know it is there, this is a great knife for Every Day Carry because of it's small size and minimal weight but is also a very sturdy little knife. The only modification I have done is tied a small length of paracord to the end so I get a better grip on it.
I've had this knife for a little while now, boy do I love it. However, the sheath cracked the first time I put te knife in it. Knife holds a great edge and it very lightweight. I've been using it while ice fishing, just wrapped some paracord around it and put it around my neck. The sheath still holds the knife in, just not very well at all.
This is a straight up scalpel! Right out of the package, it's popping the hairs on my arm just by touch. Forget shaving or razor sharp. I've never seen anything like this from a factory edge. As other reviewers have noted, you need to be aware how small the knife is. As a companion to a larger knife, it's truly great. I'm considering buying a few more just to always have one handy for small tasks even when I'm not carrying its big buddy.
The call "remarkable little"! His performance is amazing for its size. Extremely strong and yet able to retain the cut effectively. Bring it together from my BK2 services for delicate and precision as triggers of traps and slots. Replaced with praise retractable blades that led me. I recommend to all my friends this small but excellent knife.
sad for the pricing. found better knives made in china. 6 pack rainbow 440 steel throwing knives for 15 dollars at 6 in long. balanced and sharp. lame for its price. even more sad that its made in america and its 100x the actual price. americans ripping off americans. thats why our economy is so bad
Nice little extra knife but too expensive for such a small blade. I only bought it because I bought the Combat Bowie and the Becker Crewman and figured I might as well go all the way. By the time you convert to Canadian dollars add taxes and shipping you are paying twice what you see here.
Ethan Becker is a man after our own heart. An avid outdoorsman who enjoys martial arts and hunting, Becker founded Becker Knife and Tool Corporation in the early 1980's to design the industrial-strength tactical and survival knives he'd always wanted for himself. What we love about Becker, other than his innovative designs, is that he spends so much time in the outdoors testing new equipment and designs. KA-BAR is proud to be the manufacturer of Becker's five best-selling models - all introduced this year and brought up to date and approved by Becker himself.
