    • Jesse Jarosz

Jesse Jarosz grew up in the country on acreage in Nebraska. As a kid he did a lot of hunting, fishing, trapping and other outdoor activities and since then has always enjoyed the outdoors. Into his teen years, Jesse worked for his father over the summers doing woodworking and construction. Working with his hands was something he grew to enjoy thoroughly, just as generations of his family before him. Having access to the his dad's tools, he was always building or working on something in his free time and so it was just a matter of time before he would make a knife. Jesse has loved knives since he was a child, but it wasn't until he started getting into more custom and high end knives that he decided to get into making his own.

      • Out of the box I was impressed with the fit, finish, and function of the Beartooth. Not to mention the design, which is good-looking without being showy. The ergonomics are great. Opening it with the thumb stud is silky smooth, and feels very natural. The liner lock has a satisfyingly positive action, which I appreciate. The knife itself fits very comfortably in the hand, is nicely balanced, and has enough size and heft to be easy to control, without making it bulky or heavy to carry in your pocket. The sharpness of the blade from the factory is fine; probably better than average at this price point. Overall I'd say the Beartooth has the look, feel, and quality of a knife costing at least twice as much, and is well-suited to regular use anywhere from the shop floor or warehouse to the backcountry. I'm very happy with my purchase, and would recommend the Beartooth to anyone looking for a no-nonsense, high-quality knife that has some style, and won't break the bank.
