  - Nice knife to thump on,nice and black so people don't notice when i use it,never got stink eye for using it in public(I'm in Europe),sheath is kinda heavy though,paid 50$ for it.

  - I bought the Becker Eskabar "Skeleton" Knife when it first was released and have never regretted it. As a toolmaker by trade, I recognized the advantage of making the knife out of D2 Tool Steel. That steel and hardness range is used to make stamping die sections that repeatedly whack out steel stampings by the thousands before requiring re-sharpening. This knife lives up to that standard. It is shaving-razor-sharp, right out of the box. Touching up the sharpness, when it finally requires it, does take a bit more time. I recommend a diamond stone for that. Otherwise, you might wear your coveted Arkansas Stone out before the knife gets its razor-sharpness back. The scabbard that it came with is a bit novel, but I use it as a chest-rig, with the cord draped over my neck. This puts the knife under my shirt where I keep it for "survival" and "last-ditch" use. I highly recommend it.

  - I only have 1 complaint about this knife, And it's not so much the knife as it is the cording included. It would of been nice if paracord was included instead of standard nylon cording. However with that out of the way, This is a beautiful knife for the price. The blade is very thick and can be used for prying. Mine had a razor sharp edge upon arrival, So sharp that I ended up shaving a patch of hair off my arm to prove it to a friend (later regretting that now that I have a bald spot on my arm). The edge is also easy to sharpen on a diamond steel to get back to razor sharpness. I've owned many knives over the years and this is now in my EDC. I'm now sold on Ka-Bar/Becker and will be aquiring a couple more later on down the line. Also, The sheath issue that has been floating around the internet (The glass infused sheaths causing the blade to dull) has been fixed. I've drawn my knife 10 - 15 times repeatedly to test it and the knife is still sharp.

  - Not impressed being a former USMC infantry rifleman I am well aware of the durablity of the Kabar legend but this is tiny and has no belt attachment just a palstic scabbard and some shoelace looking cord I guess is you tied to your belt loop or something it might stay there but it's nearly impossible to remove it from the scabbard one handed, I was looking for a small indestructable possible weak hand fighting knife that could be cancealed the knife looks solid but the plastic scabbard sucks I guess another knife for the junk drawer but 69.00 with shipping ? not impressed!!!

  - I carry by BK14 everyday in the small of my back and have had no problems. The sheath holds the knife tight enough it wont come out unless I want it to. It holds a pretty good edge thought the factory edge left something to be desired. Overall a great knife but the belt clip is a must if purchasing this knife.

  - Tough and easy to conceal. I used the cord to wrap the handle and attached a TDI belt clip to sheath. This is a great knife for everyday carry or the field. I could use this knife for just about anything.

  - Noticed some one was complaining that this knife has no belt attachment, just some cord. That's because it's a NECK KNIFE. The sheath is meant to be worn on your chest, hung from the cord around your neck. Also, the sheath releases the knife very easily one handed. You just need to use your thumb to disengage it from the locked in position. Being this is a neck knife, when sheathed the knife is suspended handle facing down. It is snug so the knife doesn't fall out. Very annoying when people purchase a product they know nothing about, and then give it a bad rating based on their own ignorance of the products proper usage. 5 star knife. Has taken over as my EDC.

  - This knife is the best of both worlds! you have the ESEE handle and the perfect BECKER blade style on this neck knife. I have used this knife many times and it performs like a champion every time. Durable is an understatement when describing this tool.. holds an extremely sharp edge throughout usage. Great hunting knife, tactical backup knife, utility knife, survival knife, bug-out knife.

  - My most used knife. Good edge retention, easy to sharpen, compact and very functional. Nothing wrong with an ESEE izula either, I just find this blade style works well for most things that I find myself doing. Ended up purchasing canvas micarta scales from ESEE and enjoy this knife even more now. I've found nothing wrong with the sheath, it suits me fine. I tend to either use a tec-lok on my belt or paracord to carry around my neck depending on what I'm doing.

  - My opinion on this knife is the best possible. Small sturdy knife that is always tied to my neck. It is my companion all day and part of my EDC. Along with BK2, so perfect match for any situation. I'm a diehard fan of the brand, which in my opinion is synonymous with reliability.

  - Nice little bushcraft knife, makes feather sticks better than some of my more expensive knives. SHEATH IS TERRIBLE! After putting it in and out of the sheath about a dozen times it no longer holds the knife, if upside down it will just fall out...Hey Ka-bar...isn't the Eskabar considered a neck knife? Not with that sheath. I would have given it five stars with a better...or even decent sheath.

  - Great knife but came to me super dull and the sheath makes the knife dull after you sharpen it still i think its a very great knife since i usually never let the edge of my knife touch the sheath and i can get the knife sharpened very easily and it holds its edge super well.
