  - If I were to choose one knife as an adventure knife, battle blade and/or all around proven utility knife, this is it hands down. This is extreme quality I would trust my life with.

  - I have this one and also the straight edge one. I like them both. One reason I like this one is because the serrated edges help cut rope real well besides cutting my tomatoes up for my sandwiches in camp. This is extremely sharp. The D2 steel is first class. It is a fantastic all purpose knife. I really enjoy it also in camp when we cut up our steaks to eat then when everybody drools over my wonderful D2 K bar knife with serrated blade. What is a real plus is the holes on this sheath. It Allows me to tie a good size pouch on the front to put in my compass, fishing equipment, fire starter, band-Aids, cordage in my little tiny skinny flashlight so I can read my compass when I'm in the woods at night. Don't underestimate that wonderful sheath that it comes with with all those holes on the side where you can tie a great pouch on the front to carry all your extra survival stuff.

  - I just recently got into Ka-Bar knives, but I've been studying them and playing with them long enough to know that this is my personal favorite right here. For me i think its mainly the neck of the knife and the fact that it doesn't extend both ways. It's much more convenient for making precision cuts obviously as opposed to having that quillion extending on both sides. I love everything about this particular knife. Thank you Ka-Bar!
