  - I found this knife at work in the back of one of our vehicle sheds. It had been years since that truck shed was cleaned out and while sweeping the inch layer of dust off the floor I found this knife. I don't know how long it's been since that she'd was last cleaned so I have no clue how long this knife was there...years I know for a fact though. The knife was caked in fertilizer and rust and had no definable edge. Being an army veteran , once I saw it was a KA-BAR I knew inwasnt throwing it in the trash. I soaked it in CLP for a few days. Wire brushed then sanded the rust off. Put an edge on it and spent a few weeks sharpening and honing it. It doesn't look like new but it's blade is sharp as new. KA-BAR makes an outstanding knife meant to take the punishment of war. I love this knife

  - Measure your hands before buying. You will either love or hate this knife, depending on the size of your hands. It is almost 2 inches shorter than a regular Ka-Bar, with most of this being taken off the handle's length. If you have smaller or more slender hands, you will find this knife a lot more handier and more controllable than the standard model. If you have wide or large hands, then you should go for the full size. This goes for all of the short Ka-Bars. Choose which one you need; after that, it's the Ka-Bar quality you expect.

  - I have average sized hands and this is better described as a child sized knife. The blade is fine, but the handle is too small making it hard to grip. It's really a miniaturized version of the full size KA-BAR.

  - I baught this knife off of one of the recomened websites and i saw that there was no reviews on here but not to worry this is the strongest knife i have ever owned and i plan to buy another one on first look it was a little small but after i spent time with it i found that it was just the right size not too small not too large and very very sharp a very very good knife in my opinion.
