State & Union is the specialty shop for KA-BAR. The shop has bridged the gap between past and present, reintroducing the art of the cutler to KA-BAR. State & Union creates custom and mid-tech products across several categories, such as hand-built fixed blades, USA-made folding knives, straight razors, handle scales, and a variety of other products and accessories. Becker MagnaCut Drop Point

$275.00 The limited edition KA-BAR Becker BK76 is the latest offering from KA-BAR’s State & Union shop. The BK76 is made with Magnacut® steel and features blue denim canvas Micarta® handles and stainless steel hardware. A black Celcon® sheath is included. The 4.875” blade is marked “Magnacut BK76” with “State & Union” on the spine. Ethan Becker’s signature is on the sheath as well as “KA-BAR”. The overall length of the BK76 is 9.25” with a blade thickness of 0.165” and a weight of 0.35 lb for the knife and 0.62 lb with the knife and sheath.

State & Union Red Spacer Mark 1

$250.00 Introducing theRed Spacer Mark 1 from our State & Union shop. Featuring our proven 1095 Cro-Van steel with blued finish, this is the first Red Spacer with a shorter blade style. Equipped with a dyed leather handle and the signature red spacer below the guard. Blade is stamped "KA-BAR" and "USN MK1" and has a worn blued finish. Includes leather "U.S.N." marked sheath.

$250.00 The new Red Spacer USN KA-BAR from the State & Union shop. KA-BAR's with a red spacer were some of the most collectible KA-BAR variants during World War II due to their scarcity. The Red Spacer USN features a smooth leather handle and iconic World War II-era "KA-BAR USN MK2" mark on the guard. The blade has a worn blued finish. Made with 1095 Cro-Van steel in the KA-BAR custom shop in Olean, NY.

Dog's Head Red Spacer KA-BAR

$250.00 The Red Spacer KA-BAR is arguably the most collectible KA-BAR Knife made during World War II. The distinct red spacer below the hand guard and above the leather washer has caught the eye of collectors for decades. Though originals are rare and expensive, KA-BAR’s State & Union shop has made a small batch of this iconic knife with the Dog's Head blade mark. The leather washers are shaped by hand and dyed to create an aged appearance. The pommel is ground down to replicate the dimensions of the original. Each red spacer is hand made to be slightly longer than the current spacer used on KA-BAR Fighting/Utility Knives. The blade has a worn blued finish. The sheath undergoes an ageing process to darken the leather and match the original sheath color.

Red Spacer USMC KA-BAR

State and Union OSF Folder

$450.00 The Old School Folder “OSF” is State & Union’s first take on a frame lock folding knife. The OSF was designed with KA-BAR’s traditional leather stacked fighter in mind, which is why the blade has a fuller or “blood groove”. This knife is a flipper and the pivot is on caged bearings for quick and easy opening. So, if you’re a fan of flippers, this is a knife you need to get your hands on! Equipped with a 3.75” CPM S35VN steel blade, 6Al-4V titanium frame and all 6Al-4V titanium hardware (excluding stop pin, caged bearings, washers, pivot barrel, and lock-bar stabilizer), this knife is built to last a lifetime. The OSF’s pocket clip can also be arranged for tip-up or tip-down carry, so whatever your carry preference may be, we have you covered.
